Dear Stonehill Community, I’d like to wish you all an enjoyable mid-term break. I know many of our students are looking forward to time away from your studies and online lessons. Here’s hoping you all have a restful and relaxed break. With the number of Covid cases rising in India, we know that we may have to revert to online learning after the break for our M3-D2 students (Although, we are hopeful this will not be the case). The number of active Karnataka cases is still low, but unfortunately, it is not moving in the right direction. We will share any further information received from the State Government, at the earliest. In the meantime, please be mindful of Covid precautionary measures, particularly if your family is planning to travel. A negative RT-PCR report is mandatory for all inter-state travellers coming into Bengaluru. If any of our M3-D2 students and families get any Covid related symptoms (fever, loss-of taste, flu-like symptoms) please stay at home and get tested before returning to school. Further, all boarding students in these grades MUST submit a negative report to the Head of Boarding prior to their return. With vaccinations becoming more available in India and throughout Bengaluru, we are hopeful that we will slowly ease into normalcy at Stonehill when we get an approval from the State Government. In the meantime, have a wonderful break, stay safe and be well. Please be reminded that classes will resume on Monday, 5th of April. With warm regards, Dr. Brian Brumsickle Head of School |
