Dear Stonehill Community, As we welcome everybody back from our mid-term break, a continued concern is safety for the entire community. As you all might have heard, cases continue to escalate in Bengaluru, and I’d like to remind our M5-D2 students to continue precautionary measures to help prevent the spread of the virus. Earlier this week, a student tested positive but we are grateful that the family was forthcoming and followed appropriate protocol. As a result, we were able to take immediate action and follow appropriate protocol as well. We reverted back to remote and distance learning for this Thursday and Friday. The school’s facilities are being thoroughly sanitized. Additionally, staff members, cafeteria workers, and boarders were tested on Thursday. We are hopeful that we will be able to open up once again for the M5 - D2 students shortly. Fee and tuition announcements will be forthcoming in the ensuing weeks. Economic growth and operational costs must be considered along with what has been a difficult fiscal year for companies and families alike. Stonehill International School will continue to offer the highest quality international education aligned with our mission and vision statements. Our college placements in the last academic year 2019-2020 is a testament of our high quality instruction. So far, it has also been an outstanding college placement year for our soon to be graduating students. Next week we will be sending out a survey to measure how we are doing as a school in fulfilling our ‘Guiding Statements,’ which is foundational to our school. This survey will be sent out to all parents, upper Primary and Secondary students, faculty, and staff. The survey is easy and quick to fill out. Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this important survey. We look forward to getting more of our students back on campus as soon as we can. Until then, be safe and be well.
