Dear Stonehill Community, The big news on-campus this week was the return of our M4-D2 students, secondary faculty, and our administrative staff. The energy and enthusiasm of everyone seemed infectious. Although instructional time on campus was minimal, the students were excited to see their classmates and teachers. Our new students were delighted to be on campus, as this week was the first time they got to spend significant time on our campus. Most of the students I spoke to this week agreed that school is ‘better in person!’ No surprise there! The M4-D2 boarding students are scheduled to return to the boarding on September 11th-12th weekend. Further, The State Government has given the go-ahead for M1-M3 students to return to school for on-campus learning. All M1-M3 students may return to school on Monday, 13th September. Our M1-M3 boarding students may return to boarding on the 18th-19th September weekend to begin on-campus learning on Monday, 20th September. We now are eagerly anticipating a reopening for our Primary students. With the number of COVID cases lowering in Karnataka, we hope to return to our regular school days soon. As a reminder, please ensure all personal drivers are vaccinated before driving on campus. Also, please note that all Stonehill bus drivers, staff, and faculty are vaccinated. It is our aim to offer the safest possible learning environment for our Stonehill community, students, staff, and employees. Have a safe and healthy weekend, Dr.Brian Brumsickle Head of School |
