Greetings Stonehill!
2021 is only 14 days away and there is little doubt that most of us are eager to put this challenging year behind us. The pandemic exposed and heightened focus on many new challenges in international education. Distance Learning took over a vital role in our students, parents, and teachers lives. Although it worked well for many of our learners, it was difficult for a few. As an administrative team, we recognized it was a profound challenge for us all to navigate through this pandemic. This past week offered many virtual activities and learning opportunities before our winter break. I’d like to thank our Primary School who organized a wonderful Discovery Week. Our primary students extended their learning in a fun and creative way. A big thank you to Ms. Evie Kelton, who, along with our talented students, put together a unique, creative, and enjoyable virtual winter concert. You can watch the show below. We hope to welcome the new year with hope, optimism, and resolve. We will keep you informed when we receive more information from the State Government regarding the reopening of schools. Have a splendid holiday! I look forward to your return on Monday, 11th January, 2021! Be well and stay safe, Happy Holidays! Brian Brumsickle Head of School |
