Welcome to Stonehill!
I'd like to extend a warm welcome to all our new families! We had wonderful orientation sessions from the 4th to the 7th of August. We look forward to getting to know you all this year. We are looking forward to having our M4-D2 students back on our beautiful campus, on the 30th of August. We will be strictly adhering to COVID safety guidelines, masking, physical distancing, and sanitizing regularly. We hope to have the rest of our Secondary and Primary students join us soon. I’d like to thank our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) representatives this year, Ms. Kirin Singh (President) and Ms. Caron Blanch. They will be in charge of running our PTA this year, as we transition back to on-campus learning. The focus of the PTA is to get our new families connected, and help re-connect our older families. Parents should now have access to homeroom WhatsApp groups directly. If you are interested in being part of our PTA, please get in touch with our Head of Admissions and Marketing, Ms.Rishika Ganapathy at [email protected]. She will be happy to connect you with our PTA representatives. Next February, we will have our Council of International School (CIS) Accreditation Preparatory Evaluation visit. The Preparatory Evaluation will measure our school's readiness to undertake the self-study process. The visit will allow CIS to clarify the accreditation process to our school community and prepare us for the self-study stage that will take place in the next academic year (2022-2023). Please note that today, 20th August, we will be holding Hopes and Dreams - our first Learner Conference in Primary. This conference is for learners, parents, and homeroom teachers to share information about our learners. Parents will have the opportunity to discuss their child's strengths and growth areas, along with setting collective goals for the academic year. We look forward to this collaboration that will set the stage for a dynamic learning environment for our primary learners. Have a safe and healthy weekend.
