Warm September greetings to our Stonehill community!
We are beginning to see some daylight finally from the long pause of the COVID-19 pandemic with the reopening of grades M1-D2. The personal connection with other students has been greatly appreciated over the last few weeks. Although the Karnataka Government has mandated a short school day from 10am - 1:30pm, it has been sufficient for our students to get face-to-face instruction and get reacquainted with one another, especially our new students.
Our M4-D2 boarders have now arrived at our boarding houses and they are enjoying our open spaces on campus. They are being closely supervised by our outstanding boarding parents. We anticipate that there will be a strategically planned opening mandated by the government for our Primary grades. We are very hopeful this will happen soon as we are ready to deliver our primary programme face-to-face with all COVID-19 safety protocols in place.
Lastly, Stonehill has recently turned 13 years old, and we have achieved a great deal in these years. Our rigorous IB academic programme with a holistic approach is focused on extended learning opportunities in the arts, technology, and sports as well as a mindfulness and wellness approach. We are very proud of our school and its accomplishments with our graduates going to the finest colleges and universities worldwide. Every year, we celebrate our Founder Mr. Jitu Virwani, Chairman and Managing Director, Embassy Group, and his vision for Stonehill by hosting the Stonehill Founder’s Day Run. The run/ride will commence on Sunday, 26th September. We hope you will be able to join us for this virtual event. Please click HERE for more details. Enjoy your weekend and stay safe.
